This one is for all you Fifties-lovin' Folks out there!
Easily one of the best decades in history, the Fifties brings to mind everything good in life: checkerboard floors, big ol' juke-box machines and cherry-topped milkshakes. So when it came time to choose the concept for today's Colour Coated post, it's no wonder that my mind drifted to this wonderful bye-gone-era. Inspired by everyone's favourite malt shoppe decor (or perhaps just mine!) - I present to you the ever so classic palette of red, white and black.....
That Ikea cushion has my name all over it! I think I NEED that cushion in my life. What about you? Which is your fav?
I would never have thought I would love a red, white and black room decor, but the Ikea livingroom vignette loooks warm and inviting - not the stark and bold I would have anticipated. And yes, the cushions do have your name on them, Amy! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree...I love the red, white and black combo, but it's never been one I'd gravitate towards in decor. But Ikea really made it soft and sweet looking. I'm totally loving that room setting! Happy you do too!!!

DeleteI think I just recently shot those cushions at a house shoot last week! Love them. I'm a big fan of the 50's and 60's. Wish I could pop into a time machine!
